The internet is exploding at an exponential rate according to statistics there are 94 million searches everyday with 85% of the users making a purchase online this is an increase of 40% in the last 2 years with increasing opportunities one of the most popularised forms of income generation is affiliate marketing.

Most of the global leading companies all use affiliate programmes to promote their brands, affiliate marketing is when an affiliate has a website with a merchants link with their special ID embedded in it once a customer clicks on the link and makes a purchase the affiliate receives a commission.

As the growth in internet purchasing grows the potential for the newbie affiliate becomes greater right! Wrong! Unfortunately the failure rate is an alarming 95% so why the high rate of failure, the reasons are multi faceted. But the overriding problem is the lack of knowledge and training in marketing on the internet. That’s because they buy an e-book or e-books, which claims to show you the easy way to internet riches and find out there is a large portion of information that is missing. I doubt if there is any one out there who hasn’t purchased such a book or have been misled into believing this, when first starting out. That’s only natural and from this you will learn that you need to acquire more knowledge.

So what are the options? Fortunately there is abundance of resources to acquiring the skills to succeed and prosper, even if you have very little to start off with in terms of finance, you will have to learn about PPC pay per click, marketing in general in a wide range of areas and also email marketing, just be a little discerning in your choice of what to subscribe to or purchase and be realistic in your expectations.

When starting off the majority of people will be looking to generate a life changing income but do not expect this immediately as anything worth having always takes time and effort before this will materialise, think of it this way expect a little trickle then this will turn into a stream which in turn will increase in to a flood, it’s the first couple of hundred dollars that is the target.

One way of promoting affiliate marketing is to pre sell your potential customer with a landing page so that they may make an informed choice a review site before purchasing the product. The single most simplified method is to already have a premade landing page with products ready to promote, once you have the necessary skills in promoting these sites you can add your own products to your own landing page in whichever market niche that you wish. This can be promoted through pay per click article writing forums or email marketing.

Do not just subscribe to a membership or opt in to a programme blindly. Carry out some research on an interest that you may have, find out as much as possible in your related topic check it out with a software tool on search engines to ascertain the number of searches being made on a monthly basis. Having an interest will keep your enthusiasm going and sustain your concentrationin the long term.

For someone looking to increase their credit score, there are a number of both effective and ineffective ways you can go about it. Ideally, you want something that’ll give you quick results, without draining your bank account in the process. Read on to find out what you can do to increase your credit score quickly and with a minimum of expense.

To start, you’ll need your credit report. There are a number of different ways to do this. If you haven’t pulled your report ever, the government entitles everyone to a free credit report once per year.

It’s important to note that this is different from those monthly free report services that you see advertised on television. With those, the first is free, but subsequent ones cost you, and they’re billed every month. Search around and you can find ways to get your credit score and report without having to spend any money.

Once you have your actual report, it’s time to set about removing all of those nasty marks from it. Start with things that you don’t recognize. Dispute these marks on your report, and the companies that placed them on there will have to substantiate their claims. This can take care of a number of marks rather quickly.

Next, look into arranging payments for any outstanding debts. If you’re making progress on paying a debt off, it will look way better than if you’re just letting it sit there.

After you’ve gotten started on all of that, look into getting a small credit card. Don’t look for anything with a big limit, and you don’t really need to bother yourself with looking for a low interest rate either, since you won’t be carrying a balance with this card. Sometimes this card will be labeled a student or starter credit card.

When you have your card, begin making your regular purchases with it, such as gas and groceries. Make sure to pay the card off every month on time, and never get anywhere near the limit.

Keep this practice up, and you’ll notice that your limit will start to increase. As your limit increases, your score will go up.

If your banking setup lets you do this, set up automatic payment of the credit card to ensure that you never miss a payment. Above all, never spend more on the card than you have available (either in cash or checking) to pay it off. You never want to get into a situation where you can’t pay off the balance of this card. Credit is slow to build, but very quick to be lost.

I like to keep a separate bank savings account with the limit of the card in it, as an emergency fund. In case I find myself in a position where I can’t pay the card off, I use this savings account to clear it, and then refrain from using the card until I’ve put money back into the account. This way, you can ensure that you won’t miss a payment.

Now that you have the basics of building your credit score, there is a lot more to be learned! Take a look at this Credit Raising Program and learn How To Raise Your Credit Score in just over a month!

Diamonds are the iconic symbol of engagement and betrothal but it is has not always been so. Throughout history, different cultures have placed different value and interpretation on the beauty and brilliance of one of the rarest, but most sought after precious stones.

Let’s dispel a modern myth immediately; the vast majority of diamonds are mined not to go on your finger or into a piece of jewelry, but to be fixed on the end of drill bit or other industrial use. Diamond is one of the hardest materials known to man, both artificial and naturally occurring and while a well-cut diamond may look like a million dollars, the hardness of the stone makes them invaluable in many industrial processes. Many people make the mistake of thinking that diamonds are “the” hardest material known to man which is incorrect, a man-made substance known as “nonorods” is actually the hardest substance known at this time.

Most diamonds are not clear or colorless; most of them are actually a shade of yellow which varies widely. An uncut stone will typically have the same color as dirty dishwater! Many stones once cut have a yellowish hue but this is minimized by clever cutting of the stone and skillful placement in a ring or jewelry setting. Pink diamonds are the rarest of all diamonds and of course, the most expensive!

The most expensive wedding dress in the world is worth a whopping $12 million, not least, because it is made with over 150 carats of diamonds!

Diamonds are thought to have been discovered over 3,000 years ago by Indians but the consumer-driven public did not believe that diamonds are a girl’s best friend until the 1940’s. The largest miner and producer of diamonds is De Beers who are based primarily in South Africa; it is they who came up with arguably the most successful marketing campaign in history. Firstly, the slogans, “Diamonds are Forever” and “Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend” where coined by their marketing people. They also managed to convey the idea that a diamond engagement ring was part of Anglo-Saxon Christian tradition and, best of all, they have been entirely successful in persuading millions of eager young men that when they come to buy a diamond engagement ring it should cost at least three months of their salary!

Is any of this steeped in any form of tradition?

Not a bit of it!

Diamonds themselves are amongst the oldest stones on the planet and are believed to have been formed around 3 billion years ago and 100 miles below the surface of the Earth.

The Ancient Romans monopolized the diamond trade from India which was then the only source of diamonds in the world until the 6th Century. The Romans also adopted the Indian belief that diamonds could ward off evil spirits and demons, and diamonds were heavily used in the manufacture of decorative talismans to protect the wearer.

The Cullinan diamond is the largest diamond ever discovered and in its rough, uncut form weighed 3,106 carats. It was cut into nine major diamond pieces and the largest, the Star of Africa, now forms the centerpiece of the Royal Sceptre forming part of the British Crown Jewels and is on display at the Tower of London in England.

If you are looking for a way to make money online then the chances are you have heard about affiliate marketing, in one form or another. Perhaps you have been wondering if it is a genuine money making opportunity and whether it is an idea worth pursuing. Firstly, let’s ascertain exactly what affiliate marketing is: Basically affiliate marketing is the process of recommending and advertising a product or service in return for a commission payment if someone makes a purchase on the basis of your advertising or recommendation. There are many different affiliate schemes out there. You can recommend a particular product, service or information.

When you join an affiliate scheme you are issued an affiliate link and you place your link within your advert and when someone follows the link and makes a purchase you will receive a commission. This can vary from 5% to over 60% to 70%, depending on what you have chosen to recommend. It can also be a one-off commission payment, or a recurring payment for a monthly subscription or ongoing purchases. Bear in mind that the more expensive your chosen product, the harder it will be to make a sale. However, if the product is genuinely worth it you can still build a profitable business as an affiliate.

Once you have chosen your affiliate scheme you need to focus on advertising strategy. There are many ways you can advertise your product, some are some free, the most successful affiliates have their own websites, which they build around their chosen affiliate scheme; referred to as a niche website. A website enables you to employ lots of different advertising methods, pay per click, classified, article writing, as well as the website itself.

As with all online money-making systems there are plenty of scams out there, which give affiliate marketing a bad name. Often they promise to make you thousands overnight just by writing a few adverts and refer to their system as data entry. In reality they are referring to affiliate marketing but are grossly simplifying the process in order to mislead people into purchasing their product they imply that all you need do is set up a few pay per click adverts with your affiliate link and you will start to see money rolling in straight away. Of course, they don’t want to tell you the truth; that affiliate marketing requires hard work, because that will put off many of the people who are looking for a wonder solution to making fast money online.

Some of the scams are easy to recognize, any site that promises you they will teach you to make hundreds of dollars within the space of a few days, or suggests that you can make money for doing virtually nothing at all should be avoided. Affiliate marketing itself sometimes makes it hard to see the genuine opportunity from the false- people who have fallen into the trap of purchasing a dud “data entry” scheme before you are recommending the scheme all over the internet in the hope of making a sale themselves, so be wary of reviews you come across. If you really want to get started with affiliate marketing there is plenty of free information out there, to get you up and running.

So, how can one make money by affiliate marketing? Assuming you are willing to and are prepared to work hard and be geared up to learn then the most important things you need to do is research. This research falls into two categories; the first is research into affiliate marketing and the second is research into your chosen niche.

Making money from affiliate marketing should be approached with the same professionalism as any other project. You need to do your home work and find out as much as possible about affiliate marketing and search engine optimisation, as this will be critical to driving traffic to your webpage or site. So many people rush into their task without really investigating the finer points of the work that will be involved in making it a success. This research is an ongoing process – it is often easier to understand and therefore learn something by putting it into practice so you will need to keep researching, picking up new hints and tips to make your affiliate site a success as you progress.

The second type of research you will need to do is for your project itself. In order to make any money from affiliate marketing you need to identify a profitable niche in the first place, ideally, something that you are interested in or are passionate about and have knowledge of – this will help you to sustain your enthusiasm for your campaign. So, you need to look into the affiliate programmes available, there are programmes that allow setting up your website in your chosen field of interest and your assist in promoting your site. Use a keyword tool and find out how many people have been searching for keywords relating to your topic, this is a great way to work out what might be a profitable niche.

Finally you have to be hands-on in promoting your affiliate site. Too many people put all the work into setting their site up and then fail to realise that without targeted traffic people will not find their particular site out of all the millions out there. If you really want to make money from affiliate marketing then you have to drive traffic to your know site, there by advertising and use search engine optimisation tactics to encourage the search engines to display your site in their search results.

So, if the thought hard work doesn’t put you off then you can make money with affiliate marketing. The key to success is thorough research and perseverance. Without taking the time to really learn about affiliate marketing and search engine optimisation you will labour to get your campaign off the ground; without researching a profitable niche you will hinder yourself and without perseverance you could easily find yourself discouraged and possibly allow your initial hard work and effort to go to waste.

I don’t do a lot of printing, but every time I really need to print something, the computer printer ink cartridges seem to go bad. It’s usually late at night or when I am trying to run out the door that this happens. It’s amazing how frustrating a simple little thing like a computer printer ink cartridge can be.

What is even more frustrating is when I go to replace the cartridge. Usually as I walk down the aisle to the cartridges, I walk by the latest and greatest electronics, including the printers. They seem to be getting cheaper every day. Well as I move along to the computer printer ink cartridges, determined to be smart and buy a couple this time, I am shocked at the cost of the ink cartridges! Some of them are almost as much as a new printer. So, there has to be a better way.

I think getting a good deal on computer printer ink cartridges starts with the purchase of the printer itself. First off, make sure the printer you are looking at has a separate black cartridge. I think most of them do, but I remember a plain paper fax machine that I had that had once cartridge with color and black. Needless to say, the cartridges were not cheap. Ask around including the guys at the big box store you are buying from, they should now.

Some printers seem to just sip the ink. I just had to get rid of my HP1350 all in one. I was sad to see it go. It worked flawlessly for years and the black cartridge would last forever. I don’t do any color printing so when the color ink ran out, I never replaced it. Sadly the printer finally broke, but guess what, I bought another HP and it is just as frugal with the ink. So check around, and see what brand is easier on the ink.

You can also save money on the computer printer ink cartridges by purchasing multi packs of ink, so see if the printer you are considering has cartridges available in multi packs. I have tried generic computer printer ink cartridges, but I felt the quality was a little off but I know others that are very happy with them. Some are refilling their own cartridges, and from what I have seen, it is very cost affective, but I can’t vouch for it. Shopping online can also save you a few dollars here and there.

Now, I know some who would just buy a new printer rather than replace the cartridges. And at first glance, this may seem to be a smart way to go. However, I have had more than one salesman at the big buy stores tell me that the cartridges included with a new printer don’t have as much ink as replacement cartridges. I am not sure if that is true, I tend to believe it as my first cartridge on my new printer didn’t seem to last that long. Consider to the thought of being green and not tossing everything out just to make our lives a littler easier. Just a side note, I sold my broken HP1350 printer on eBay and made a few bucks all though not enough to buy a single new cartridge.

So, when you are shopping for computer printer ink cartridges, think first about your printer, then check out some of the other options available for cartridge replacements. And one other thing, buy two! You will thank me later.

There are many ways that you can prevent a tax levy from going into effect. If you have received a notice from the IRS there is a good chance that the levy is going to take effect in the near future if no action is taken. This should worry you for a number of reasons. One thing to keep in mind is that the IRS does not want to levy your property. In fact, this is a costly process for them and one that they would much rather avoid. For this reason, they are more than open to you doing what you can to stop the tax levy from going into effect.

The IRS will begin to seize assets if you do not pay the money you owe them or come up with some other form of settlement. Does this mean that there is no stopping them? Definitely not. They give you many options for preventing the levy from going into effect.

1. Pay in full. You know how much you owe the IRS. If you have the money to pay them in full you can definitely stop the tax levy from taking place. This is the quickest and easiest way to stop the process. The question is: do you have the money to make this happen? Sometimes it is also an option to think outside of the box a bit to see if you have any other options to come up with the money quickly. One option, you can ask your family and friends for help. This is only a good idea if you know you will be able to come up with the money to pay them back in the near future. Do you have any assets you can sell quickly? Any art, or collectible cars? These are some things you should be thinking about.

2. Ask for an installment agreement. This is a common form of tax settlement, and if you do not have the money to pay in full it is what you should consider doing. With an installment agreement you are able to pay a small amount of money every month until your debt is paid. The IRS is likely to accept this form of arrangement as long as you don’t have a history of defaulting on this type of agreement and as long as you can pay off the taxes owed in a period of 60 months or less.

3. Offer in compromise. With an offer in compromise you are truly settling your debt with the IRS. This is a way to prevent a tax levy without paying your debt in its entirety. To move forward with an offer in compromise you must meet several strict requirements. The IRS only accepts approximately 10 to 15 percent of the offers they receive.

Just like you, the IRS does not want to move forward with a tax levy. If you want to put a stop to this before it goes into effect, try out one of the three methods above. It is important that you act quickly to protect your assets. When dealing with an IRS levy it is also a good idea to consider a tax professional to help with your situation. A tax professional can quickly analyze your financial situation and get a plan of action together to quickly stop the levy and then work with the IRS to settle the taxes owed.

When it comes to working nothing beats having a home business that you can run to bring in the money you need to pay your bills. But with a home business sometimes comes the need to scale back and save money wherever possible. This may seem like it is a near impossibility but if your home business is like many you are on a limited budget and really don’t have a choice.

The good news is there are plenty of places where you can save in your home business that you may not have considered before, here are a few of them:

-Advertising: Every business, including a home business, needs to advertise. This can be rather costly but you can combat that cost by doing a lot of the advertising yourself. Instead of hiring a company to get your home business name out you can hit the streets and do it on your own. Join the local Chamber of Commerce and other social networking clubs and begin to meet and greet people who will help you to build your home business. You can also do some self advertisement online utilizing some of the social media outlets such as FaceBook and Twitter. The point is to get motivated and get your name out there.

-Create your own website: This sounds scary on the outset but rest assured that you too can create your own website these days. There are many website builders that have premade templates for you to chose from that will create the entire site design for you. All you will have to do after that is simply plug in some text and pictures and before you know it you will have just created a professional looking website on your own. The savings you will realize is simply amazing.

-Comparative shop everything: Compare prices on anything and everything that you can. If your home business is online then you can price shop different web hosting companies and save yourself some money by electing to go with the most cost effective one. You can also price your Internet provider and compare what you pay with other providers. This can instantly save you money on a monthly basis. Compare prices on everything else as well from computers to printer to printer paper. Saving a little here and there begins to really add up over time.

-Hire your family: If you are at a point in your home business where you find it necessary to hire on some help then go the cheap route and hire your family. Your spouse is probably more than willing to pitch in a bit and if you have kids then you can also get them to do some tasks for you as well. The added help usually only costs you a few hugs and kisses and maybe an increase in allowance.

Running your home business in a successful manner requires you to be savvy and thrifty all at the same time. By cutting back on some little things you may be able to breathe just a bit easier when it comes time to pay the bills.

Jason Kay recommends you learn more about starting a home internet business including website creation, marketing, and budgeting.

Once you have written the perfect resume you are then faced with the daunting task of resume distribution. After all, only by getting your resume out in front of potential employers will you begin to see the fruits of your labor and begin to get interviews. Obviously getting a new job is a numbers game. What that means is the more times your resume is viewed, the better your chances are of getting new job. So what are the best ways to go about resume distributions and what are the secrets of the trade?

Once again, the key in getting a new job is getting your resume in front of as many potential employers as possible. Here are a few secrets that may help you in your resume distribution quest:

- Post your resume online: These days there are many job sites online that allow you to post your resume. This service is typically free and is a wonderful opportunity to have thousands of potential views. Sites like Career Builder and Monster.com both allow you to not only upload your resume but also allow you to create a personal profile as well. It all adds up to increasing your chances of landing a new job.

- Hunt the classifieds: Yes there are still a good number of employers that prefer to hire out of the newspaper. Take time each day and scour the classifieds for potential jobs. Once you have found them either copy down the fax number that they supply in the advertisement or call the company and ask them for their fax number. Once you get ten fax numbers distribute ten resumes. Repeat as necessary for eventual success.

- E-Mail resume: Another cost free way to get your resume distributed is by e-mail. Not only do many companies have an e-mail address specifically for resumes these days but this also allows you the opportunity to network with your friends and colleagues using cyberspace. You may not know who to give your resume to, but what if your friend does, or their friend does, etc. Sending your resume to a handful of friends through e-mail could have a ripple effect and have you landing a job in no time.

- Social network: It seems these days that everyone has some sort of connection to the world of social networking. MySpace, FaceBook, and Twitter are among the more popular and if you are perking up reading this then you are in luck. You can post your resume on your personal page and you can even share it with your group of friends within the network. Again, this could have a ripple effect and your dream job may come from a source that you certainly were not expecting.

- Beat the streets: You can also take at least 10 resumes every day and simply do the old fashion method of going door to door. Yes it is time consuming and not the most fun thing to do but distributing your resume in this manner allows a potential employer to actually get to see you even if it is only briefly. That said be sure that you dress to impress with this type of resume distribution.

As far as effectiveness goes you never really know. It only takes your resume being viewed one time by the right potential employer and you are on your way to a great new job. The trick is to simply execute your resume distribution with great vigor and sooner or later success will come your way.

Jason Kay recommends reading resume distribution reviews to compare the top distribution services.

As exciting as it can be to start a new job the actual process of finding a new job can be something of a nightmare. Finding a new job is much more than just opening the paper and circling a few want ads and it is the many things that can go with finding a new job that can have many people feeling a bit of hate in their hearts.

Here are some things to hate about finding a new job:

-Putting up with your current job: A lot of times the whole reason you want to find a new job is because your current job is not all that great. But you do have bills to pay and until you secure a new job you can’t go anywhere. That means you are pretty much stuck putting up with a boss, or a co-worker, or both that you don’t get along with and your days can just seem endless. Then to top it all off, once you do find a new job you still need to give your current employer two weeks notice.

-Writing your resume: Then there is the time consuming chore of writing your resume. You have to ensure that not only is your resume fresh but that it is relevant to the job you are trying to get. If you are applying for several different positions then that task becomes even more daunting.

-Distributing your resume: After you craft the perfect resume you then have to spend even more time uploading your resume to potential employers online, or faxing out tons of resumes to the businesses themselves. What a hassle. The absolute worst is when you go through the process of uploading your resume online and go through about twenty different steps only to find that the resume can’t be uploaded for some technical reason. Is your face red yet?

-Interviews: Once you actually have some employers look at your resume you now find yourself with the challenge of going in for an interview. What will they ask you? What will you say? How do you stop the butterflies in your stomach? This is enough to make even the most well grounded person stress out and can have you literally seeing stars.

-The waiting game: You interview for your dream job and you think you nail it. The interviewer seems very impressed and your confidence couldn’t be higher. Then you hear those dreaded words, ‘We’ll let you know.’ Now you leave feeling deflated but still want to hold on to hope but how long do you wait? Do you take more interviews that come available ort urn them away hoping for the best? This is enough to make you rip your hair out of your head and scream.

When you look at the facts it is little wonder why so many people simply put up with the jobs they have. While there may be some stress at their current jobs, it usually pales in comparison to the stress and hate that is felt when attempting to find a new one.

Resume writing takes a good bit of dedication and time on your part if you want to write a good one. Your resume is your key to getting your foot in the door at the job of your dreams. A well crafted resume will all but ensure that you will get a phone call asking you to come in for an interview.

Knowing how important it is to have a nice resume there is a checklist of things that should be addressed before you can call your resume complete. Here is what you should look at when tackling your resume writing:

-Complete work history: Be sure that you fill in the complete timeline of your work history. Employers don’t like to see gaps in this area. If you were a stay at home mom or a student you can think of something clever to put down or simply state the fact that you were not employed and why.

-Plenty of contact info: Give a potential employer a chance to reach you by providing them with a multitude of ways to contact you on your resume. Try to leave at least two phone numbers and state at what times each one should be called. You can also leave an e-mail address as well. Try to have a professional sounding e-mail like johnworkshard@whatever.com instead or johnpartyshard@whatever.com. A clever e-mail may make your friends chuckle, but it won’t have many employers smiling.

-Relevancy: When you are writing your resume you want to try to tailor it to the job you are trying to get. Be sure that you include anything that is relevant to that job and leave out things that have no bearing on the job whatsoever. You also want to avoid putting in too much ‘fluff’ as this too can turn an employer off.

-Structure: Do you know the proper format to write your resume in. Some jobs require a special way to write the resume and if you do not deliver in that way you will not even get a first glance. Don’t wait until it is too late to find out that there was a special format you should have used.

-Be truthful: this goes without saying really. Don’t lie about your past work history, your education, or anything else for that matter. A quick reference check can expose your lie and your resume will then be tossed in the trash.

-Avoid clutter: If someone gave you a piece of paper that was messy and cluttered and asked you to read it over if you wanted to, would you? Well neither will a potential employer. Be sure that your resume doesn’t look cluttered and hand it in neat.

-Have proof readers ready: Once your resume is completed you will need to have someone proof read it. While you can hit spell-check for the misspellings, spell-check does not catch typos like typing meat when you meant to type meet. Your resume should be proof read at least two or three times when done.

Remember the first step to you landing your dream job is your resume. You have to make the most of your resume writing to ensure that you produce a resume that stands out from the rest.
